Wind Vane(NRG #200P)

To add the feature of Wind Direction to your Wind Data Logger package, Off Grid Options offers the NRG #200P Wind Vane. NRG's product description:

The NRG #200P wind direction vane is the industry standard wind direction vane used worldwide. The thermoplastic and stainless steel components resist corrosion and contribute to a high strength-to-weight ratio.

The vane is directly connected to a precision conductive plastic potentiometer located in the main body. An analog voltage output directly proportional to the wind direction is produced when a constant DC excitation voltage is applied to the potentiometer.

A rubber terminal boot is included. 

Be sure to order our Wind Vane Cable (part number APRSC1020) to connect your new wind vane to our Wind Data Logger. If adding a Wind Vane to a Wind Data Logger Starter Package, you will also need an Anemometer and Wind Vane Splitter Board. Another useful item is the Z-Boom for mounting your Wind Vane to the same mast as your Anemometer.
